Harmonica suddenly out of tune?
I was playing my harmonica at work and walked home, and now the four hole draw sounds very flat. I plan on cleaning my harmonica thoroughly (to check for lint in the reeds, which I read somewhere). Any tips ideas, or better yet guides. I have a Hohner blues bender. Also, any tips on taking out the screws on the outside, they seem really stuck in there.
oops common fault im afraid…I’ve lost count of the number of harps i have with dead 4 draws. by all means clean it, but chances are the reed is dead, due to drawing too hard.
Having seen the reviews of the Blues Bender, it looks like a cheap harp, and probably not worth repairing, unless you want to try it yourself.
