blackberry bold do u have to get a data plan with rogers?
wondering when u get a blackberry bold do u have to get a data plan?ohh iam with rogers if that helps?
Technically, yes. If you don’t get a Blackberry plan then the price on the Bold is about $500 even on a 3-year term. If you get a minimum $15 Blackberry plan with that same 3-yr term then the hardware price drops to $199. Also, with no Blackberry plan you cannot e-mail or access Internet at all which makes it kinda pointless to get a Blackberry in the first place. There’s a new Blackberry data value package just launched by Rogers that contains 500MB of data (this would be unlimited for Blackberry usage since most people use less than 15MB) also caller-ID, voicemail, 10,000 text messages and “Who-called” service all for $30 per month.
