What is the screen resolution of 1280×1024 computer resolution compared to television?
I getiing camera card digital I / O and I have a tc on my computer. I'm thinking of connecting the box to my computer. But I want if I get the HD channels that are provided by the television company I see the shows in HD 720p or 1080p resolution, or me in my resolution of 1280×1024 monitor?
When you use a capture card tuner, the channels HD can receive local channels (ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, PBS, etc.) You will not be able to tune a payment encrypted HD channels like Discovery HD QAM, HBO, CNN HD, etc. No PC tuner card capture / decode QAM can be due to copyright restrictions. These local channels unencrypted, you can see is broadcast in 1080i, but the video card can be reduced to 720p because it is the only HD resolution of 1280×1024 the monitor can display. As for pay channels is concerned, a tuner / capture card, you can tune in standard definition (480i ie low resolution) versions of these channels.
